ACCUSPLIT’s 5-Year, Limited No-Proof-of-Purchase Warranty™

ACCUSPLIT offers a 5-Year Limited Warranty on most products. Products are generally marked with a warranty label describing the effective warranty dates (See FAQ’s below for details and exceptions). No documentation of ownership is required to obtain service.

During the first year of service after purchase, the product is warranted against workmanship defects. If the product fails during normal usage, we will replace the product at no cost to you.

After the first year of ownership, we provide Repair/Refurbishment/Replacement service (at our option) for all warranted products, for a small service fee (see FAQ’s for details).

To obtain warranty service:
Write us a short note with your reason for return, full name, phone number (so we can call with any questions), and address. Then, mail your product, along with the service fee, if applicable, to:

You may wish to insure your package, as we cannot be responsible for items lost in shipment to us.

We will evaluate your returned product and repair/replace as circumstances allow. We will call you only if there are questions. Otherwise, we will pack and ship the repaired unit back to the address provided, at our expense.

FAQs

What is a No-Proof-of-Purchase Warranty™?

This simply means that we do not require you to submit proof that you actually bought the product when seeking warranty service. If you own the product now, it doesn’t matter how you got it – we will fix or replace it if it is under the warranty period.

Is my product eligible for this warranty?

Almost all ACCUSPLIT products are eligible for the full 5-Year warranty. Most products have a warranty label that shows the effective dates (see next item for locations).

Where is the warranty label on my product?

Pedometers with lids: The warranty label is on the inside bottom of the case.
Pedometers without lids: usually do not have a label, but most are still eligible for service. For example, AE1020, AE1120, AE1120M2 are all eligible for service.
Stopwatches, Timers and Clocks: The warranty label is on the back or bottom of the product.
Wristwatches: Do not have a warranty label, but ALL are eligible for warranty service.

My product doesn’t have a warranty label! Now what?

Pedometers without lids: If you have an AE1020, AE1120, AE1120M2, they are all eligible for service. Fee is $5 after first year of ownership.

Other, inexpensive “beginner” products such as AL20 and AL70 pedometers generally carry only a 90 day warranty – please see the distributor (we do not sell these products at retail).

Wristwatches: All ACCUSPLIT wristwatches are eligible for 5-year warranty service. Fee is generally $15 after first year of ownership.

How long does it take for repairs?

Repairs usually are completed and shipped within a week of receipt.

I forgot to send the service fee – what do I do now?

Not to worry – we will call you when we are working on your repair. You can pay by credit card over the phone.
